Joshua Eastmann

Joshua Scott Eastmann, 43, of Tiffin died peacefully with his family present with him on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at MetroHealth Cleveland after succumbing to burn injuries from a tragic accident.

Joshua and his twin brother were born in Bucyrus on December 1, 1979. He grew up in Grand Rapids, Ohio and attended Liberty Center High School. He worked in various construction trades and was currently a concrete finisher.

Josh will be remembered for his good heart and willingness to help anyone. He was a very hard worker and could get any job done. He had a soft spot for animals and loved the outdoors, especially if it was on water where he enjoyed kayaking and fishing. He also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers with his niece. Josh was a Denver Broncos and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He loved his “second family” at the Tiffin Fraternal Order of Eagles 402 where he liked to socialize and shoot pool.

Josh is survived by his twin brother, Jonathan Eastmann (Stacy Priest); nieces and nephew, Adreana Johnson, Alyssa Jaeck, and Jarrett Jaeck; great niece and nephew, Adelina and Jessiah; aunt, Alison (Jerry) Allonas; and cousins, Trey Allonas and Abbott Kendall. He was preceded in death by his mother, Stephenie Eastmann; grandparents, George and Eloise Spraggins; cousin, JD Nauman; and his beloved dog, Elway.

Joshua’s family will gather privately to say their goodbyes. Friends and family are encouraged to attend a farewell celebration on his 44th birthday, Friday, December 1, 2023 at Tiffin Fraternal Order of Eagles 402, 68 Riverside Dr., Tiffin, Ohio. Time will be announced as the date nears.
