Thomas "Mouse" Radcliff

Thomas G. Radcliff, 54, of Bucyrus died Friday morning, December 11, 2015 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland after a hard fought battle with cancer.

He was born in Bucyrus on November 29, 1961 to the late Tom and Sharon (Baker) Radcliff and grew up throughout the United States while his dad was in the Air Force. After finishing high school in Indiana, he moved to Nebraska where his dad retired from the service before returning to Bucyrus with his family.

Thomas earned the nickname “Mouse” as a youngster due to his small stature. He was a free spirit who lived for the moment and loved to be out in nature whether fishing, walking, hunting mushrooms, or just going for a drive. He was an accomplished artist whose attention to detail started at a young age with model cars and grew to include drawing, painting, and woodworking. He enjoyed his work with Ridgeton Restoration and hanging out with friends at the Wren’s Nest throwing darts, playing pool, and shuffleboard. He was proud to have a renewed relationship with his daughters in recent years and will be remembered as a great guy with a kind heart who would do anything he could for anybody.

Thomas is survived by two daughters, Amelia Esco and Savanah Karcher; brother, Ray (Kathy) Radcliff; uncle, Dave (Marcia) Baker; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bud.

Tom’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, December 14 at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus where his funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday with Mark Dettmer, Certified Celebrant, officiating.

Those wishing to make memorial donations are asked to consider the Humane Society Serving Crawford County or Hospice of North Central Ohio. Photos and memories can be shared on Thomas’ Tribute Wall.
