Terry E. Grau

Terry E. Grau, 53, died unexpectedly of natural causes early Friday, February 10, 2023 at home.

He was born in Bucyrus on February 17, 1969 to the late Donald E. Grau and Beverly J. (Rice) Grau who survives. Terry went to Wynford High School where he was in FFA and graduated in 1987. From a young age, he began to love the stockyard where his father worked, and he began working as a yardman for Producers on his 18th birthday. He took an early retirement in 2022 due to failing health.

Terry will be remembered for his love of all things agriculture. He was active in 4-H and FFA as a youth and Fair Week was still his favorite time of year. He loved helping people, whether on their farms or youngsters with their animal husbandry projects. He adored Josh and Ashley, his twin nephew and niece, and playing with them when they were young. In recent years, he followed several podcasts and scrolled through countless TikToks. Terry will be remembered for his boisterous and contagious laugh and missed by all who had the pleasure of calling him a friend.

Terry is survived by his mom, Bev Grau; siblings, Mathew (Kimbra) Grau, Tawni Grau (fiancé Larry Evans), and Rusty (Kylie) Grau; nephews and nieces, Josh, Ashley, Brittany, Mikaela (Noah), Silas, Haylie, Autumn, and A.J.; and grandnieces, Eliza and Nova.

Terry’s family welcomes friends to his viewing on Tuesday, February 14 from 5-7 pm at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
