She later received her Associates Degree from Terra Tech and was proud of this accomplishment. Sharon was a talented seamstress and in addition to creating gifts for many, she used her talent by working at various sewing shops and was lastly employed at Fairborn USA in Upper Sandusky; just recently retiring.

As well as singing in choirs, she served as a Sunday School secretary, was active in camp meetings, and enjoyed sharing her time in senior homes and assisting with prison ministries.
