Sean R. Cassaro

Sean R. Cassaro, 46, took his last motorcycle ride to heaven early Sunday, January 22, 2023.

He was born September 30, 1976 in Bucyrus to the late Raymond F. Cassaro and Connie (Dicks) Cassaro who survives. He went to school at Holy Trinity School and Bucyrus High School where he was the captain of the football team and graduated in 1995. He then earned his Associates Degree in Engineering from Marion Technical College. Sean worked for the City of Bucyrus for 17 years and was currently employed by Asplundh Tree Service.

Sean will be remembered for his huge smile, being a friend to many, and never meeting a stranger. He had two great loves: his daughters and the “wind therapy” he got from riding his motorcycle. He was witty, fun, smart, and many would say the best “Lead” when riding in groups. His girls were very important and he attended every one of their events and activities that he could. He loved to read with them, teach them to cook, hunt, fish, ride four wheelers and bikes, and to laugh and love life in a gentle and caring way. Sean had a lifelong love for the outdoors as he and his father loved competing for the biggest catch whether ice fishing in the winter or out on their boat on Lake Erie. Sean was a member of the Moose Lodge and Sons of the American Legion.

Sean is survived by his daughters, Elle, Eden, and Eva; mother, Connie; siblings, Michelle (Ken) Perry, Charlie Frazier, Doug Holt, and Tim Holt; along with many extended family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Yvonne Newcome.

Services will be held on Sunday, January 29 at Wise Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 1-3:55 pm and the funeral will begin at 4:00 pm. Sean will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
