Sean Patrick McDonagh

Sean Patrick McDonagh, 52, died Monday, October 5, 2026 after a period of declining health.

Sean was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 18, 1973. He was the son of the late Donald and JoAnn (Otto) McDonagh. Don’s work as an engineer took them across the country. They eventually settled in Akron, where Sean attended Firestone High School.

Sean will be remembered for his love of gaming, collecting, and movie trivia. Sean was proud of his Irish heritage and of being a member of Belegarth, fighting as Usal "MF" Khan of the Elite Blood Falcons.

He will be missed by his son, Tavin McDonagh, his extended family, and many friends. In addition to his parents, Sean was preceded in death by his brother, Michael McDonagh.

Services for Sean will be held at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus, Ohio on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Viewing will be from 1 - 2:55 pm. A Funeral Liturgy led by Deacon Jerry Gubernath will begin at 3:00 pm. He will later be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
