Sally Ann Hall

Sally Ann Hall, 82, of Bucyrus, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on October 21, 1942, to the late Edward and Ruth Longanbach Frost, she married her husband, Larry E. Hall, on July 11, 1959. Together, they built a life centered on faith and family. Larry survives her.

Sally was the cherished mother of Dawn (Kelly) Spiegel, Cathy (Rod) Schafer, Norman Hall, and Charles Hall. She was a proud grandmother to Adam (Claudia) Spiegel, Jody (Jon) Spiegel, Eric (Abbey) Spiegel, Josh (Toni) Schafer, and Christie (Brendon) Reed. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Wyatt and Lane Spiegel, Makenzie and Maverick Spiegel, Paxton Merendo, Mason, Shelby, and Hudson Schafer, and Emma, Kailey, and Logan Reed.

She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Bloomfield, and brother, Bruce Frost. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Alice Frost.

Sally had a deep love for baking and was known for her award-winning treats. She once won a cherry pie contest and proudly received a blue ribbon at the Crawford County Fair for her homemade cinnamon rolls. Her afghans, lovingly crocheted and gifted to friends and family, were one symbol of her generous spirit. Each summer, she grew vibrant flowers and a bountiful vegetable garden, which she tended with care and joy.

Sally’s life was a testament to her strong faith and enduring devotion to her community and loved ones. She was a faithful member of Bucyrus Bible Church until its closing and currently attended Bucyrus Nazarene. She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
