Ronald L. Inscho

Ronald Lee Inscho, 73, of Bucyrus, died Friday, September 18, 2026.

He was born on November 28, 1952 in Galion to the late Kenneth R. and Donna M. (Hollenbaugh) Inscho and was a 1971 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He worked for the railroad for over 30 years, retiring as a train engineer for CSX.

He is preceded in death by Natalie McCarthy, his long-time companion, who he referred to as “the love of his life.”

Ron was a proud Mason, and was considered an “old soul.” His passions included listening to polka music, conversations with friends, who he considered family, and trains. He was always in search of the best cheeseburger and whether he found it or not, he kept tasting wherever he ate.

Ron will be greatly missed by many, including the children and grandchildren of his long-time companion, as well as friends and family.

In honor of Ron’s wishes, there will be no memorial. If desired, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor’s choice in his name..
