Ron Lewis

Ronald Lee Lewis, 54, of Bucyrus, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at his residence following a battle with cancer.

Ron was born in Bucyrus on August 3, 1971 to the late Roger “Butch” Lewis and Wanda J. (Bloomfield) Frankart who survives. He worked various home improvement and house renovation jobs over the years and had also worked for a period at Transco prior to his decline in health.

Ron was very much a free-spirited individual who enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He always had a story to share which often brought laughter to those he was with. He enjoyed collecting Native American trinkets and memorabilia and for relaxation, Ron enjoyed listing to country music as well as watching episodes of Law & Order.

In addition to his mom, Wanda, Ron is survived by stepmom, Colleen Lewis; daughter, Jewell Paige Lewis; grandchildren, Sonja and Draven; siblings, Chad (Amy) Lewis and Sherry (Lowell) Laser as well as nieces and nephews.

Ron understood the importance of being right with God and over the past month did just that. He is now rejoicing in Heaven with all who’ve gone before, including his dad, Butch who recently passed and his stepdad, James Frankart.
