Patricia A. Price-Young

Patricia A. Price-Young, 80, of Bucyrus, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 following a recent cancer diagnosis.

Pat was born on February 17, 1946 in Bucyrus to the late John H. and Helen A. (Shuck) Rike and graduated from Buckeye Central High School. She spent a number of years working as a cashier at Geyer’s in Bucyrus; was an office manager at Wyandot Seating until they closed and concluded her working career as a clerk in the Crawford County Probate Court.

Pat lived a simple life and was extremely proud of her family, often bragging them up when talking with others. She had a big heart for animals and always spoiled her son’s dog, Milo, whenever they were together. Pat was often seen sitting on her front porch conversing with neighbors, and if not there, she was most likely watching her daily TV shows.

She is survived by son, Jeff (Tracey) Price of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Jordan Ruehle, Vincent (Chelsea Cranston) Ruehle, Courtney (Dylan) Allison, Seth Price, Christian Price and Logan Lane; seven great grandchildren and a couple of close neighbors who were extremely helpful to Pat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chad Price and brother, Richard Rike.

Pat’s family will celebrate her life privately and she will be inurned in the Oakwood Cemetery Columbarium.
