Ollie L. Gehringer, 95, formerly of Bucyrus, died Wednesday, April 21 2010 at her residence in Mansfield, where she had lived for the past eleven years. She was born January 21, 1915 in Whetstone Twp. to the late Carl and Idella (Smith) App. Ollie was a 1933 graduate of North Robinson High School and on December 24, 1947 she married Robert Gehringer who preceded her in death on June 27, 1992. She worked at Kroger for six years, Swan Rubber for twenty-three years and ending her work career with the Second National Bank where she was employed for three years. She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church; VFW Auxiliary Post 1078 and the Am. Legion Auxiliary, Post 181. She is survived by a daughter Sharon Linn and her significant other Everett Perez of Little River, SC; four grandchildren, Larry Linn of Ontario, Lisa Linn of Clyde, Ohio, Laura Linn-Shelton and Marc Shelton of Bay Village, Ohio and Lesli Claflin and husband Chris of Mayfield Heights, Ohio; 13 great grandchildren, Erica Linn, Ryan Linn, Kendra Linn, Adam Bennett, Scott Bennett, Maegan Brockway, Leina Hill, Joseph Thompson, Jr., Thomas Thompson, Max Linn-Shelton, Clarissa Claflin, Robert Claflin and Maura Claflin in addition to six great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Ollie is preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Walter, Roy, and Kenneth App and four sisters, Bertha Grove, Freda Gray, Viola Casler and Esther Heinlen.
