Norma Stuckert, 81, died early Thursday, June 30, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She had been in failing health since suffering a stroke in November 2019.



She was born July 24, 1940 in Crawford County to the late Karl “Abe” and Vernetta (Kennedy) Stuckman. She married Melvin Stuckert on November 26, 1959 at Zion EUB Church and he survives. They were blessed with three children, Randall (Dee) Stuckert of New Winchester, Rick (Dawn) Stuckert of Bellville, and Jacquelyn Stuckert Johnson (Frank) of Reynoldsburg; eight grandchildren, Mitchell, Tyler, Brandon, Travis, Nikki, Brittany, Braven, and Gabriel; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Polly) Stuckman of Port Clinton; and sister, Mary (Elger) Sherk of Sulphur Springs. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by brother, Walt (Darlene) Stuckman.



Norma graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1958 and went to work at the Swan Rubber offices, then Kroger. She then became a stay-at-home mom before starting her nursing home career at age 52. She retired as the administrator of the former Fairview Manor. Norma will also be remembered for her successful career as The Avon Lady.



She was a member of Bucyrus Nazarene Church and she loved wintering in Florida and following her grandchildren and great grandchildren.



All services will be held on Tuesday, July 5 at Wise Funeral Service. Friends may call from 11 am – 12:55 pm and her funeral will begin at 1:00 pm with her dear friend and former pastor, Rev. J.D. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.



Donations can be made payable to Avita Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted through the funeral home. Memories and photos can be shared on Norma’s Tribute Wall.
