Mary Jane Clady Zeigler, 81, of Bucyrus, died Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Unger Park Post Acute following a recent decline in health.
She was born on April 12,1945 in Bucyrus to the late Robert L. and Helen M. (Weiler) Butler and was a graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. Mary spent over 30 years working at Timken, where she built some lasting, lifelong friendships.
After retirement, many of her mornings began by drinking coffee and socializing with friends at the Pelican Coffee House. She spent years tending to her tomato plants and, in general, simply enjoyed being outdoors. Mary enjoyed traveling and for a number of years, visited many states while on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. She had a big heart for animals, and cherished the companionship offered by her various pets owned throughout life. Mary had several collections, liked watching the birds and was happiest when spending time with family and friends.
Mary attended church at the Bucyrus Alliance Church and when her health declined, she was very appreciative of the visits.
Mary is survived by her son, Quinton C. (Brenda Beekman) Clady; grandsons, Shawn Clady and Ridge Clady; great grandchildren, Talan, Price, Zander and Kimber; siblings, Ronald (Melinda) Butler, and Sue (Bob) Bucher; close companion, Sam Beach as well as some close friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Clady and a daughter-in-law, Kim Clady.
A celebration of life service for Mary will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Bucyrus Alliance Church followed by a meal and fellowship in the church’s Legacy Hall.
Donations can be made payable to the Bucyrus Alliance Church, and these gifts will be accepted through the Wise Funeral Service. Online memories are encouraged to be shared on Mary’s guestbook page at www.wisefuneral.com.
