Heidi C. Hendrickson

Heidi Christine Hendrickson, 53, of Bucyrus, entered her eternal home in Heaven following her passing away from bladder cancer on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

She was born on April 18, 1973 in Bucyrus and was preceded in death by her parents, David R. Leuthold and Patricia (Nicholas) Smith. Heidi spent many years working at Whirlpool and most recently founded, His Handmaiden LLC; a cleaning company she owned and operated until her health no longer allowed.

Heidi Christine literally translates to Noble Christian and ever since being led to the Lord by Pastor Dan Rebon through Father’s Heart Healing Center, she’s preached the power of prayer to her family, friends, and those willing to learn. She was proud to have earned her diploma in Theological Historical Studies from Kineo Ministry Training Center in Georgia which only strengthened her love for the Lord. Heidi was currently worshiping at the Encounter House of Prayer in Marion and due to her gentle persuasion of prayer, Pastor Steven Nolen and staff felt appropriate to name a prayer hall in her honor, “Heidi’s Prayer Hall.”

In addition to living life for Christ, she lived for her children and grandchildren. She made many sacrifices for their betterment, raised them to love God, and was a present mom and grandma. She spent many years helping women stricken with addiction as well as those saved from human trafficking.

To anyone Heidi loved, you were either picked on, prayed for, or both. This meant that anyone who was a target of her comical rise probably endured a little embarrassment while she tried to make others laugh.

She will be missed by her children, Skyla (Mychal Stewart) Leuthold, Braxton (Alisha) Zier-Leuthold, and David (Emily) Hendrickson; grandchildren, Roland Stewart, Iverson Stewart, Dezryn Stewart, Bho Wright, Hudson Zier-Leuthold and Azrek Zier-Leuthold. In addition to her parents, Heidi was preceded in death by her brother, Jacob “Jake” Leuthold.

A celebration of life service for Heidi will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, October 12 at Bucyrus Nazarene Church with Pastor Steven Nolen officiating.

Online memories and expressions of sympathy are encouraged to be shared on her guestbook page at www.wisefuneral.com.
