He was a 1960 graduate of Holmes Liberty High School and was proud to have been a member of the 1958 boys’ basketball state runner-up team. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1966 and on June 7, 1969, married Linda Kay Chalfin, who survives. Glenn worked for 42 years at PPG in Crestline.
Glenn’s life revolved around his love for family, friends and cars. Glenn was an avid basketball enthusiast and for several years, he served as the assistant girls’ basketball coach for the Colonel Crawford Lady Eagles and until recently, never missed a girls or boys basketball game.

Glenn was a long-time and active member of The Eliminator’s Car Club, where he served as Treasurer and hosted the Annual Eliminator “Drive-in” party at his home, a day where fellow members along with their family gathered for loads of fun.
In addition to Linda, his wife of nearly 57 years, Glenn is survived by his daughter, Shannon Steiner (Jeffrey Mainka); grandchildren, Max , Olivia (Max Klosterman), Anna , Emily Idleman (Kael) and Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his son, David E. Steiner; granddaughter, Megan and a brother, John Steiner.
