Donald E. Diener Iii

Donald E. Diener III, 26, of Shelby, died on September 13, 2022.

Donald was born December 11, 1995 to Donald E. Diener Jr. and Juanita (Noblet) Diener in Bucyrus. He graduated from Wynford High School in 2015 where he played tight end and kicker on their football team. A few years after graduation, Donald moved to Shelby and began working as a press operator for Teijin Automotive Industries in Carey.

Donald was known for telling jokes and putting smiles on people’s faces. He cherished all the moments he spent with family and friends. Whether they were at Cedar Point, haunted houses, go-karting, dirt biking, at a bonfire, or fishing, he always had a great time. Donald’s favorite hobby was fishing. Growing up, he would ride his bike anywhere there were fish to catch. His favorite fish to eat were the ones he caught himself. Donald also liked lasagna and pasta salad. You would never see him without a hat, and he was an avid Eagles and Georgia Bulldogs fan. Donald was a loving son and a straightforward and honest man.

Donald is survived by his parents; brother, Michael Stuart; sister, Jennifer Diener; nieces, Taylor, Rylee, and Brea Stuart; nephew, Zachariah Phamakao; paternal grandparents, Hank and Eva Rupe; maternal grandparents, Ron and Gail Noblet; and many aunts and uncles.

His family will receive friends from 11am – 1 pm, Monday, September 19 at Wise Funeral Service. His graveside service will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Rick Lewis officiating. Photos and memories can be shared on Donald’s tribute wall.
