Diane Bogan Gould

Diane Bogan Gould, 73, former Bucyrus resident and longtime Floridian died Monday, March 23, 2026 under hospice care after a brief, acute illness.

She was born in Bucyrus April 19, 1952 to the late Donald and Audrey (Campbell) Bogan. Diane graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1970 and later moved to the Tampa Bay Area of Florida where she met and married Denny Gould on Christmas Eve 1984. They shared 36 years of marriage when he preceded her in death in 2021. Diane loved her work as an educational psychologist for the Hillsboro School District and looked forward to gathering with fellow retirees to catch up.

Diane was the beloved mom of Dustin Gould. The family enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, family gathering, and soaking up the warm Florida weather. She was a dog lover who cherished her canine companions and was glad to have returned to Bucyrus for her class reunion last summer.

Diane is survived by son, Dustin Gould; sisters, Karen (Dave) Wright and family, and Connie Turner and family; along with extended family and dear friends.

Cremation arrangements were handled in Florida and her family will gather privately on a later date to celebrate Diane’s life. Rather than flowers or gifts, it would be best to remember Diane with a gift to a local animal shelter if you care to do so.
