Constantinos Charles “Conner” Chavatzas, 20, of Bucyrus, died Sunday, June 15, 2025 as result of an automobile accident.
Conner was born on February 5, 2005 in Pittsburgh, PA to Anthony “Tony” and Erin (Roszman) Chavatzas. He was a 2023 graduate of Bucyrus High School, earning three State Certification “SEALS”. One in, OhioMeansJobs Readiness, Science, and Industry-Recognized. While in high school, Conner worked as a delivery driver at Pizza Hut and later, had been employed at Timken. He was most recently hired by American Plastics in Sycamore and was to begin job orientation this week.
Conner loved time spent with his family and together, they enjoyed many weekends playing games, swimming in the pool and shooting pool. In more recent years, Conner and his dad took up both golf and bowling, allowing them to strengthen their bond during the summer and winter months. When not with family, Conner’s favorite pastime was gaming, and he, along with some of his closest friends, enjoyed hours of conquering missions together.
Conner will be deeply missed by his parents, Tony and Erin; paternal grandparents, Constantinos “Gus” and Matina Chavatzas; maternal grandfather, Charles “Chuck” (Kathy) Roszman; uncles and aunts, John (Kim) Chavatzas and Brian (Sara) Roszman; cousins, Jacob (Erica) Chavatzas, Emily (Donnie) Chavatzas and Lillian Roszman as well as some close and incredible friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Roszman.
