Clarence Edward Meade

Clarence E. Meade, 58, of Bucyrus died on June 2, 2021 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.



Clarence was born May 17, 1963 to the late Raymond A. and Bonnie J. (Hunnicutt) Meade in Bucyrus. He attended Colonel Crawford High School. During his life he worked many jobs and was currently at Asplundh. Clarence met the love of his life, Jennifer Bowers, and they got married on March 27, 2015. They moved to Tiffin for a few years before returning to Bucyrus.



Clarence was known as a loving father, husband, and grandpa. He always made time for his family and enjoyed the quality time they spent. Clarence and his son Michael were especially close, constantly fixing up cars together and they had recently been working on their Power King tractor. When Michael was younger, Clarence would take him hunting and they would try out new foods at restaurants. Clarence was also a handy guy who could seemingly fix anything. He even helped Michael and Kristin with home renovations. Clarence enjoyed drinking coffee and listening to his favorite band, Moonshine Bandits. He was always seen with a smile.



Clarence is survived by his wife of six years; son Michael (Kristin) Meade; grandson Lincoln Meade; and brother Kenneth Meade.



Friends and family may visit from 10 – 11:55am on Thursday, June 10 at Wise Funeral Service and his service will begin at 12 noon with Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens. Donations can be made payable to Wise Funeral Service or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
