Carrol E. Albright

Carrol E. Albright, 88, died in her home unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

She was born January 13, 1935 in Morrow County to the late Virgil C Wiseman and E. Pearl (Emick) Wiseman. After graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1953, she married Harold E. Albright on October 15, 1954 and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2001.

Carrol worked as a homemaker and also used her associate’s degree in accounting from Marion Tech in her work for Truka Chevrolet and Baja Marine. More importantly, she will be remembered as a woman of deep and committed faith to her Lord, Jesus Christ. She and Harold were active in the former Grace UMC and she had attended Scioto UMC in more recent years. Carrol was a member of the King’s Daughters and served on the board of trustees of Maplecrest. She also helped organize BHS class reunions, served as a substitute driver for meals on wheels, and helped Scioto Church with their Strawberry Festival and county fair admission gates. She used her gifts from God to serve others and never doted on herself.

Carrol is survived by her sons, Mark (Vicki) Albright and Paul (Kathy) Albright; grandchildren, Sarah Albright, Rebecca (Michael) Harvey, and Katey (Forrest) Green; great grandsons, Landon, Brennan, and Edwin; sister, Velda Shifley; brother-in-law, Glen (Jean) Albright; sister-in-law, Norma Kaple; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband; Carrol was preceded in death by sister, Eileen Noggle; brothers-in-law, Calvin Shifley, Don Noggle, and Grover Kaple Jr.; and dear friend, Darl Rindfuss.

The Albright family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus on Tuesday, May 23 from 4-7 pm. She will be laid to rest privately in Oakwood Cemetery.
