Carl was a lifelong farmer and was also employed at General Electric for 30 years before retiring in 1997. He was a loving, giving and kind man who would set anything aside to help his family and especially his grandchildren. He had a strong faith in Jesus and it showed through his membership at Chatfield Evangelical Pietist Church where he served as an Elder.
