Anissa Raine Schoch

Anissa Raine Schoch was born August 28, 2023 in Texas. During her brief time on earth, her will to live and be loved was embraced by many who will forever remember the impact she had before she was peacefully called into the arms of Jesus on February 5, 2024.

For the first weeks of her life, Anissa was lovingly cared for (and spoiled) by Tina, Natalie, and the NICU nursing team at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. Her beautiful hair and sweet disposition stole the hearts of her caregivers who saw that she had new clothes and hair ties fit for a princess. Andrew and Julia Schoch were eager to welcome this amazing little girl into their family and were blessed to bring her home to Ohio where she could enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas with her beloved family. Since her homecoming, Anissa enjoyed lots of snuggle time with her siblings and parents, delighted in dancing with her Momma, and especially loved her bath time.

In addition to her parents, Anissa will be deeply missed by her siblings, Derek, Natalie, Jaylyn, Avonlea, Gretchen, Torin and Melanie Schoch; paternal grandparents, Dan and Terry Schoch of Minster, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Gail (Bill) Hoffman of Aiken, SC and Dave (Diana) Saxton of Bellville, Ohio as well as many extended family members and dear friends. She was welcomed to heaven by her big sister, “Punkie” Elizabeth Anne Schoch.

Services will be held on Friday, February 9 at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus. Family will receive friends from 11 am – 12:55 pm and her funeral will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Donations can be made payable to Voice of Hope Pregnancy Center at 115 W. Rensselaer St. Bucyrus, OH 44820 and will be accepted at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be shared on the guestbook.
