Timothy D. Taylor, 75, of Bucyrus died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Altercare of Bucyrus.



He was born on February 25, 1944 in Freedom, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Ida Marie Francis (Simmons) Taylor. They eventually made their way to Ohio where Tim attended Galion Schools and graduated in 1962 from Crestline High School. Tim served in the US Air Force from 1963-1966 and married the former Kathleen “Kitty” Prohaska in Biloxi, Miss. on September 22, 1963.



Tim is best remembered as the Nickles bread man, a job he held for over 40 years. He never met a stranger and loved socializing at McDonalds, bowling, playing euchre, fishing and boating, listening to music, line dancing, and rooting for the Steelers. He was a former member of AmVets #27 and Moose #669 and attended church with Kitty at Lincoln Ave. Church of Christ.



Tim is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kitty Taylor; sons, David (Annette) Taylor, Noell Taylor, and Chad Aaron; grandchildren, Anastasia (Dustin) Murrell, Storrie Taylor (fiancé Chad Parish Sr.), and Heather (Alan) Kocher; and three great grandchildren, Delilah, Chad, and Chandler. He was preceded by his parents; sister, Delores Whistler and brother, Chuck Taylor.



Tim’s funeral will be held on Sunday, November 17 at 4:00 pm at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus. His family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3:55 pm. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery with military rites by the USAF Honor Guard and Bucyrus Veterans Military Funeral Detail will be held in Oakwood Cemetery on Monday at 3:00 pm.
