Rosie Keller

Rosie Keller, 73, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Mill Creek Nursing Center in Galion.



She was born July 2, 1945 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late John and June (Marcum) Fisher and their family moved to Bucyrus in the early 1950s to open and operate Fisher Auto Parts. Rosie graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1963 and the very next year on May 9, 1964, she married Robert E Keller who preceded her in death on May 5, 2008.



Rosie worked 30 years at Baja and retired as a supervisor. She attended church at Bucyrus First Alliance Church, enjoyed camping and fishing with family, flying remote control airplanes with her husband Bob and enjoyed their travels over the years which included places such as Florida, Myrtle Beach and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Her family reunions held in Corbin were special times as it gave her the chance to catch up with everyone and even though she called Bucyrus home, she never lost her Kentucky attitude. Rosie also enjoyed and rarely missed an opportunity to play BINGO at Holy Trinity.



She is survived by two children, John “Jason” (Jodi) Keller and Kimberly (Timothy) Bond both of Bucyrus; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Keller; 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; three siblings, Jim (Lynn) Fisher, Paul Fisher and Amy (Wyatt) Mullins as well as her Mill Creek family who loved and cared for her.



She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Keller and a brother, Steve Fisher.



Her family will receive friends from 12-2 and 5-7 pm Monday, January 7 at Wise Funeral Service, where her funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday with Celebrant Mark Dettmer officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.



Donations can be made payable to American Cancer Society and will be accepted through the funeral home.
