Marjorie M. Reinhard

Marjorie May Reinhard, 92, of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at The Manor at Perrysburg, Ohio.

Marjorie was born May 17, 1922 in Bucyrus to the late Roy Curtis and Laura Almira (Ditty) Linn. She was married November 15, 1942 to Edwin Eugene Reinhard, who passed away October, 1998.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Richard Heikkila; brothers,  Pearson Linn and Leslie Linn; sisters, Mildred Hoover, Virginia Orewiler and Carol Newland and great-granddaughter, Annabelle Kapcar.

She is survived by daughters, Mary Ann (Glenn) Abke of Perrysburg and Lila Everett (James) Royster of Charlotte, North Carolina and son, Lyle Reinhard of Bucyrus.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Matthew Heikkila, Joshua Heikkila, Carissa Abke Kapcar, Jeffrey Abke, Sydney Everett, Skylar Everett, Alexandra Everett and Pierson Everett and four great-grandchildren, John Kapcar, Lucy Kapcar, Vivian Kapcar, and Wallace Abke.

A 1941 graduate of Holmes-Liberty High School, Mrs. Reinhard was a homemaker and assisted with the family farm for 36 years.  She was employed with General Electric before and after raising her children.

Mrs. Reinhard was a member of Scioto United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, leader of the Junior Crusaders, a member and past officer of the Friendship Class, Mary-Martha Circle, and United Methodist Women-Mansfield District.  She was also an active member of the Holmes-Liberty PTA, Community Club, and Women’s Christian Temperance Union (WCTU).

She will be buried privately in Oakwood Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at Wise Funeral Service, 129 West Warren Street in Bucyrus with Rev. Glory Geib officiating.  Friends may call from 1:00 until the service begins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Scioto United Methodist Church or WCTU through the funeral home.
