Jane A. Miller,
91, of Bucyrus, died Friday, January 8 at Mill Creek Nursing Center
in Galion.
She was born
December 14, 1918 in Shelby to the late Harry B. and Georgianna
(Brubaker) Nelson. Jane graduated from Shelby High School and on
May 29, 1941 she married Richard D. Miller who preceded her in death.
Jane cared for her family as a homemaker and had worked at Shelby
Salesbook as a proofreader. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church in Bucyrus.
She is survived
by four children, Linda Beam of North Canton, Ann Miller of Bucyrus,
Thomas and Joanne Miller of Bucyrus and Lee R. and Lynn Miller of
rural Bucyrus; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 13
great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
Along with her
parents and husband, Jane is preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine
Guthrie; a son-in-law, Ronald "Pete" Beam and a great
granddaughter.
A graveside
funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Oakwood
Cemetery with Pastor Jack Kocsis officiating. Friends are asked
to meet at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to
the Crawford County Humane Society through Wise Funeral Service.
