Lois
Neff Long Kibler, 94, of Bucyrus, passed away quietly January 24
at Carlisle House.
Mrs. Kibler
was born June 3, 1915 in Bucyrus to the late Emmanuel and Sarah
(Krauter) Neff. She graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in
1933.
She is survived
by her three daughters, Lauretta (Ed) Snyder of New Winchester,
Eileen Bunner of Bucyrus, and Vivian (Larry) Eaton of Tequesta,
Florida; a stepdaughter, Sharon (Kibler) Gray of Vermillion; grandsons,
Gary Snyder of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Doug Snyder of Shelby, Ryan
and Brice Bunner of Columbus, and granddaughters, Lisa (Snyder)
Hale of California and Jodi Eaton of Mississippi. She also has 10
great grandchildren along with 10 nieces and nephews with special
recognition to Catherine (Feik) James and Carolyn (Feik) Pfleiderer
who were very caring and attentive.
In addition
to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her first husband,
Daniel Long and her second husband, Robert Kibler as well as a sister
and four brothers.
Lois played
the organ at Hope United Church of Christ in Sulphur Springs for
60 years and, after being a homemaker for 30 years, she worked as
a secretary at Sulphur Springs Elementary School for 26 years. She
will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Friends may
call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 28 at Wise Funeral Service
where her funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor
Walter Keib officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made through the funeral home to Hope Church
or The American Heart Association.
