Lyle
W. Fauser, 66, of Bucyrus, took a ride to Heaven on his Case tractor

from Col. Crawford High School and on September 26, 1964 married
Nancy Tompkins who survives.
Lyle was a life
long farmer. He farmed livestock, agricultural and was a dealer
for the Rupp Seed Company. Lyle also worked as a valued part time
associate for Wise Funeral Service for a number of years and, for
the past three years, drove truck for Bucyrus Road Materials.
Lyle was a very
community-minded people person and it showed as he cared for people
as a Whetstone Twp. Volunteer Firefighter. He then became a trustee
for the township and had been active for the past 30 plus years.
He was a longtime donor with the American Red Cross and attended
the Bucyrus Community Hospital diabetic support group.
He was an active
member of Woodlawn UMC and the County Twp. Assoc. and was also a
member of the Farm Bureau and the Bucyrus Moose Lodge. Lyle received
the Outstanding Young Farmer award from the Bucyrus Jaycee's and
that lead him to join that organization which he had belonged for
many years.
He formerly
served on the following boards: Landmark Board, American Red Cross
Board, Ambulance Board, Economic Development Committee, Whetstone
Cemetery Board and the Regional Planning Board. Lyle currently served
on the Bucyrus Community Hospital Board and the C.I.C.

to his wife and mother, Lyle is survived by two children, Dori Bishop
and husband Kevin of Bloomville and Steve Fauser and wife Nikki
of Bucyrus; three grandchildren, Blaine Bishop, Xander and Xara
Fauser; a sister, Sandy Young and husband Larry of Bucyrus; brothers

in death are his father and a brother-in-law, Donn Knowlton.
Lyle loved people,
farming and life in general. But most important to him was spending
time with family especially his grandchildren. He will be missed
by many.
