Persis J. Denzer,
95, of Bucyrus, died Tuesday, December 15 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.
She was born
May 3, 1914 in Nevada to George and Juanita (Traxler) Williams.
Persis was a 1932 graduate of Nevada High School and on November
14, 1936 she married Ross Denzer who preceded her in death on May
3, 1984. Persis worked at the Marion Ordinance Plant during WW II
and then at ASCS for 13 years before retiring in 1974. She was a
member of the Nevada Lutheran Church and the VFW Post 1078 Ladies
Auxiliary.
She is survived
by one son, George L. Denzer of Bucyrus; six grandchildren and 16
great grandchildren.
In addition
to her parents and husband, Persis is preceded in death by a son,
Charles W. Denzer and a sister, Bernice Hannum.
A graveside
service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 17 at Oakwood
Cemetery with Gene Luidhardt, SAM officiating. No calling hours
will be held and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be given to the Nevada Lutheran Church
through Wise Funeral Service.
