Douglas C. Allen, of Bucyrus, died Thursday, December 3 at MedCentral Health System in Mansfield. He was born October 2, 1923 in Bramwell, WV. to the late Samuel and Sarah Allen. Mr. Allen was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from the US Corps of Engineers as a Lockman. He is survived by his only daughter, Linda (John) McLaughlin of Bucyrus; twin grandsons, Mac and Mark McLaughlin and one brother, Samuel Allen of Asheboro, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Smith) Allen and two brothers, Perry and Frankie Allen. Mr. Allen was cremated and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kirkpatrick Church of Christ through Wise Funeral Service who assisted the family with arrangements. |
